Countess Liara or better known as the “countess de décadence” was a young bride of a wealthy count for 4 years until the mysterious disappearance of the couple in 1835. After 7 years of rumors about the couples whereabouts the countess reappeared claiming they had been abducted against their will by an unknown culprit and had slain her husband. Not long after, she obtained her inheritance and was left her husband’s wealth. Liara threw wildly lavish parties at her estate where unspeakable decadence would take place and several people would meet their end. Rumors of rituals and blood magic were subsequently stated and hearsay of her unnatural red eyes and smooth porcelain skin. Nothing was ever proven but many wealthy men would soon meet their untimely demise when invited to Liara’s exclusive nightly gatherings.
