i think… there’s a lot to be said about how cis women contribute to homophobia and transphobia by making comments about what men are and are not allowed to be attracted to. like the fact that it’s extremely common to meet closeted bi men or men who actually think trans women are women (bc we’re women) who are afraid to publicly acknowledge these things mainly because of the women in their life that make derogatory comments is like? wild. i mean of course the responsibility still falls in the lap of the man and it should be questioned why their opinions are so centered on being sexually desirable but like. that contribution from cis girls in their life just does not help. wild shit
