A Mexican/Cuban woman born in Cuba in 1933, Chelo rose to fame in Italian cinema. Eventually she found her way to become a popular actress for her fiery femme fatales and dancing scenes. She starred largely in cult classics such as Son of Sampson and Sign of Rome.
